Born and raised in Arizona, Holden's tattoo journey started back in 2018 when he purchased a simple machine kit online and began tattooing his legs as practice. What began as an curiosity evolved into a passion which would then in-turn become an obsession. 

Fast-forward eight years, and Holden continues to grow as an artist while co-owning Desert Rein Tattoo alongside his close friend, Jonny Hawkins. His passion for tattooing extends beyond the skin and into the craft itself. Over the past year he has begun building tattoo machines with long-term goals of learning to manufacture power supplies, build needles, make ink, and create other essential shop equipment.

Holden’s favorite style to tattoo in draws from the foundations of American Traditional while incorporating depth, dimension, and detail to bring each concept to life. Above all, his priority is turning his clients’ ideas into reality. Whether that means working within his preferred style or exploring something entirely different, Holden approaches every design with the goal of creating a piece that feels personal, intentional, and true to the clients vision behind it.
