Jonathan “Jonny” Hawkins is a tattoo artist based in Arizona, originally born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Phoenix. He began his tattoo journey with an apprenticeship in 2020 and has been working professionally for the past three and a half years. Over that time, he’s worked at several shops, steadily building his clientele and sharpening his craft.

In June 2025, Jonny took a major step in his career by opening his first tattoo studio, Desert Rein Tattoo, alongside his close friend Holden “Smokie.”

Jonny specializes in the styles of American Traditional and Traditional Japanese, but he’s well-versed in a wide range of tattooing and is always open to whatever walks through the door. He’s constantly working to grow his portfolio, connect with new clients, and most importantly, continue evolving in the art form he’s passionate about, tattooing.
